Ever since I can remember, I was always into video games, electronics, and technological gadgets. If there was a stereo, I’d press all the buttons. Anything that reacts to a push of a button, a joystick, or mouse made me curious. That curiosity is still in me now. For example, I’m currently working on making a bar top arcade machine that will play classic arcade games such as “pacman” and “Mario”. Right now, It is just an old laptop that runs some games and a bunch of buttons plus joysticks that need to be wired together.
When I learned to use a computer, I had found out what made me happy in life. All through middle school and high school, I took all kinds of computer classes to learn everything about them. Engineering is one of my interests because, you can become a leader in technology and you find ways of increasing performance while minimizing size and cost. I’m not really sure if I want to be an engineer but I’m experimenting with computer engineering and computer science to see which I like best. So far, I’ve worked more with the software side of computers, but I’d like to get into hardware aspect of computers.

Yeah, see I wanted to try engineering for a semester or a year, because it interested me, but also to see if I could find out what kind of jobs mason CompE students are getting. If I don’t like it, then I’ll do move on to computer science. As long as I’m happy with my career, it doesn’t matter how long it will take me.
